Let's "grow grateful" during the month of November!

 Hello, November!

We love a fresh new month around here!  This month's theme is "Grow Grateful."  Lessons during this month will connect children to healthy foods and activities around nutrition & agriculture to help better understand the science behind their food, the process of going from a seed to their plate and see how nutritious foods benefit both the mind and body!  We will become little chefs this month and participate in some classroom cooking...perhaps they can help cook Thanksgiving dinner at home!

When kids learn about good nutrition and develop positive attitudes about eating, it goes a long way toward lifelong health. Plus, kids deserve to learn about how GOOD healthy eating can feel—and taste! From trying new foods to learning to cook to understanding food allergies, and of course, eating those veggies, here are some favorite picture books about nutrition and healthy eating habits to share with kids - https://www.weareteachers.com/11-fantastically-fun-childrens-books-that-teach-healthy-eating-habits/

Stay tuned for more posts this month related to our theme! :)
